科室概况
中山大学附属第五医院肾内科是广东省临床医学重点专科、珠海市高水平临床重点专科、医院重点学科，挂靠珠海市血液净化质量控制中心，是珠海市首批国家临床药物试验基地、广东省血液透析培训基地、广东省血液净化技术下基层省级优势单位、广东省肾脏病专科护士培训实践基地、粤港联合培训认证专科护士临床实践医院、国家住院医师规范化培训专业基地及中山大学内科学（肾脏病学）博士/硕士学位授予点，是集医疗、教学、科研和高层次人才培养于一体的肾脏病诊断、疑难病会诊和慢性肾脏病防治中心。
科室现有工作人员120人，其中主任医师6名、副主任医师5名；博士生导师2名、硕士生导师7名；博士12名、硕士15名，在站博士后5名。科室设2个病区，开放床位79张，年门诊量4.7万余人次，年收治患者3500余人次，年透析量逾7万人次，年肾活检约300例，平均住院日6.9天。
Overview
The Department of Nephrology at the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University is a Guangdong Provincial Key Clinical Specialty, a Zhuhai High-Level Key Clinical Specialty, and a key discipline of the hospital. It hosts the Zhuhai Quality Control Center for Blood Purification, and serves as one of the first National Drug Clinical Trial (GCP) sites in Zhuhai, a Guangdong Provincial Training Base for Hemodialysis, a provincial model unit for bringing blood purification techniques to primary care, a Guangdong Practical Training Base for Nephrology Specialist Nurses, a clinical practice hospital for specialist nurses jointly certified under the Guangdong-Hong Kong training program, and a National Standardized Residency Training Base. The department is authorized to confer doctoral and master’s degrees in Internal Medicine (Nephrology) at Sun Yat-sen University, and functions as an integrated center for clinical care, teaching, research, and talent development in kidney diseases, with particular strengths in the diagnosis and consultation of complex cases and the prevention and management of chronic kidney disease (CKD).
The department has a staff of 120, including 6 chief physicians (full professors) and 5 associate chief physicians, with 2 doctoral supervisors and 7 master’s supervisors; 12 staff members hold doctoral degrees and 15 hold master’s degrees, and 5 postdoctoral researchers are currently in residence. With 79 inpatient beds across two wards, the department handles over 47,000 outpatient visits and more than 3,500 admissions annually, performs over 70,000 dialysis treatments and approximately 300 kidney biopsies per year, and maintains an average length of stay of 6.9 days.
专科特色
科室实行亚专科化管理，下设血液透析、腹膜透析、糖尿病肾病、痛风性肾病、肾性高血压5个特色亚专科，覆盖急慢性肾小球疾病、继发性肾脏病、急慢性肾衰竭及透析并发症等疾病的全方位诊疗，各亚专科均由深耕该领域20年以上的资深专家担纲带头人。
特色技术一：血液净化技术。该技术居珠海“标杆级”水平，年透析量逾7万人次；常规开展CRRT联合ECMO危重症救治、血液灌流、免疫吸附、人工肝支持（MARS）及儿童血液透析。血液净化中心为广东省血液透析培训基地，拥有世界一流透析机96台、CRRT机12台，配备劳尔双反渗水处理系统及德国产中央供液系统，现有近600名维持性血液透析患者长期接受治疗。
特色技术二：血管通路技术。常规开展自体动静脉内瘘成形术、人工血管植入、长期透析导管安置等血管通路建立与维护技术，血管通路介入治疗及ECMO联合CRRT治疗居珠海首位。
特色技术三：腹膜透析技术。腹膜透析中心为珠江西岸规模最大，在透患者350余人，占珠海市一半以上；常规开展规范化及自动化腹膜透析，配备专职医生及专科护士，形成返院就诊与家庭随访相结合的管理模式；置管并发症低、患者回归社会率高，生存时间及贫血达标率明显高于全国平均水平，并牵头制定区域性腹膜透析质控标准。
特色技术四：肾脏病理精准诊疗。依托肾脏病理室，每年肾活检约300例，对糖尿病肾病、IgA肾病、膜性肾病、难治性肾病综合征、狼疮性肾炎、尿酸性肾病、难治性肾性高血压等，均结合肾穿刺病理分型实施精准诊疗。
特色技术五：中西医结合诊疗。常规开展耳穴、艾灸、穴位敷贴、热罨包等中医适宜技术，形成中西医互补的诊疗特色。
Subspecialties and Clinical Expertise
The department operates under a subspecialty-based structure comprising five programs — Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Diabetic Kidney Disease, Gouty (Uric Acid) Nephropathy, and Renal Hypertension — providing comprehensive care across acute and chronic glomerular diseases, secondary kidney diseases, acute and chronic kidney failure, and dialysis-related complications. Each subspecialty is led by a senior expert with more than 20 years of dedicated experience.
Blood purification. Recognized as a benchmark program in Zhuhai, the center delivers over 70,000 dialysis treatments annually. Routine services include CRRT combined with ECMO for critically ill patients, hemoperfusion, immunoadsorption, artificial liver support (MARS), and pediatric hemodialysis. As a Guangdong Provincial Training Base for Hemodialysis, the center is equipped with 96 state-of-the-art dialysis machines and 12 CRRT machines, together with a Lauer double-pass reverse osmosis water treatment system and a German-made central dialysate delivery system, providing long-term care for nearly 600 patients on maintenance hemodialysis.
Vascular access. The team routinely performs autogenous arteriovenous fistula creation, prosthetic graft implantation, and long-term dialysis catheter placement, with a full range of access maintenance techniques. The department ranks first in Zhuhai for interventional vascular access therapy and combined ECMO-CRRT treatment.
Peritoneal dialysis. The largest peritoneal dialysis center on the west bank of the Pearl River, the program cares for more than 350 prevalent patients — over half of all peritoneal dialysis patients in Zhuhai. Both conventional and automated peritoneal dialysis are routinely performed by dedicated physicians and specialist nurses, under an integrated management model combining clinic visits with home follow-up. Catheter-related complication rates are low, social reintegration rates are high, and both patient survival and anemia target attainment are significantly above national averages. The team has led the development of regional peritoneal dialysis quality control standards.
Pathology-based precision nephrology. Supported by an in-house renal pathology laboratory performing approximately 300 kidney biopsies annually, the department delivers pathology-guided precision care for diabetic kidney disease, IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, refractory nephrotic syndrome, lupus nephritis, uric acid nephropathy, and refractory renal hypertension.
Integrative medicine. Complementary traditional Chinese medicine techniques — including auricular acupressure, moxibustion, acupoint application, and herbal hot compresses — are routinely incorporated, offering an integrated East-West approach to kidney care.

王成，主任医师、博士生导师，肾内科主任。岭南名医、广东省医学杰出青年人才，现任广东省药学会肾脏病用药委员会副主任委员、珠海市医学会肾脏病分会主任委员、广东省抗癌协会肿瘤肾脏病学分会副主任委员、广东省临床医学学会肾脏病精准诊疗专业委员会副主任委员、广东省医学会肾脏病分会青年委员会副主任委员等职；主要研究方向为慢性肾脏病高血压防治及糖尿病肾病足细胞损伤机制，主持国家自然科学基金项目4项，以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论著70余篇。

杜 艺，主任医师，血液透析亚专科带头人，从事血液净化工作30年，擅长血管通路建立及危重症患者血液净化治疗，现任广东省医学会肾脏病分会血液净化专业委员会常委。
朱伟平，主任医师、博士，腹膜透析亚专科带头人，擅长腹膜透析置管术及并发症处理，其创新的腹膜透析置管技术入选广东省卫生健康适宜技术推广项目。
金石昆，主任医师，肾脏病理亚专科带头人，从事肾脏病理工作36年，完成肾活检2300余例，推动了珠海地区肾脏病理诊断水平的整体提升。
Our Team
Academic leader
Cheng Wang, Chief Physician, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, serves as Director of the department. A renowned physician of the Lingnan region and an Outstanding Young Medical Talent of Guangdong Province, he serves as Vice Chair of the Nephrology Pharmacy Committee of the Guangdong Pharmaceutical Association, President of the Nephrology Branch of the Zhuhai Medical Association, Vice Chair of the Onco-Nephrology Branch of the Guangdong Anti-Cancer Association, Vice Chair of the Precision Diagnosis and Treatment of Kidney Diseases Committee of the Guangdong Clinical Medicine Association, and Vice Chair of the Youth Committee of the Guangdong Society of Nephrology. His research focuses on the prevention and management of hypertension in chronic kidney disease and on podocyte injury mechanisms in diabetic kidney disease. He has led four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and published more than 70 SCI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author.
Senior faculty
Zhonghe Li, Chief Physician, is the department’s Chief Expert and one of Zhuhai’s Top Ten Physicians, specializing in complex and critical kidney diseases and blood purification. He serves as Vice Chair of the Blood Purification Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Society of Nephrology and the Nephrology Committee of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association, and Vice Chair of the Blood Purification Committee of the Guangdong Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
Yi Du, Chief Physician, leads the Hemodialysis subspecialty. With 30 years of experience in blood purification, he specializes in vascular access creation and blood purification for critically ill patients, and serves as Standing Committee Member of the Blood Purification Committee of the Guangdong Society of Nephrology.
Weiping Zhu, Chief Physician, MD/PhD, leads the Peritoneal Dialysis subspecialty. He specializes in peritoneal dialysis catheter placement and the management of related complications; his innovative catheterization technique has been designated a Guangdong Provincial Appropriate Health Technology Promotion Project.
Shikun Jin, Chief Physician, leads the Renal Pathology subspecialty. With 36 years of experience and more than 2,300 kidney biopsies performed, he has played a leading role in advancing renal pathology diagnosis across the Zhuhai region.
研究与教学
科室是中山大学内科学（肾脏病学）博士/硕士学位授予点、国家住院医师规范化培训专业基地，近年来通过高位嫁接引进中山大学“百人计划”人才、“珠江人才计划”青年拔尖人才等多名高层次青年人才，形成老中青结合、医护研协同的人才梯队。
近三年，科室先后承担国家自然科学基金5项（面上项目2项、青年科学基金项目3项）及广东省自然科学基金等省部级科研项目10余项；发表SCI收录论文50余篇（其中中科院一区论文7篇），成果发表于JAMA Network Open、CJASN、Theranostics、Hypertension、Molecular Cancer等国际权威期刊，相关成果纳入《中国动态血压监测指南》。作为国家临床药物试验基地，牵头及参与药物与医疗器械临床试验12项，其中组长单位项目3项。科室建有覆盖6000例慢性肾脏病患者及1000例透析患者的临床随访数据库和生物样本库，在慢性肾脏病综合防治、夜间高血压、血管钙化及糖尿病肾病等方向形成研究特色。
在2023年度中国医院科技量值（STEM）排名中位列全国肾脏病学第78位、广东省第11位，2019—2023年五年总榜（ASTEM）位列全国第97位、广东省第13位，均为珠海市唯一入选的肾脏病学科。
科室与香港中文大学、澳门镜湖医院、美国西奈山医院、美国Georgetown大学等国内外高水平肾脏病防治中心建立合作关系，开展多中心研究，持续主办珠澳肾脏病学术会议，搭建粤港澳大湾区学术桥梁。
Research and Education
The department is a degree-granting unit for doctoral and master’s programs in Internal Medicine (Nephrology) at Sun Yat-sen University and a National Standardized Residency Training Base. In recent years, it has recruited multiple high-level young talents — including scholars under the Sun Yat-sen University “Hundred Talents Program” and Young Top-Notch Talents of the “Pearl River Talents Program” — building a well-balanced team spanning senior, mid-career, and junior members across medicine, nursing, and research.
Over the past three years, the department has been awarded five NSFC grants (two General Program and three Young Scientists Fund projects) along with more than ten provincial and ministerial grants, including funding from the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province. Faculty have published over 50 SCI-indexed papers, seven of them in CAS Q1 journals such as JAMA Network Open, CJASN, Theranostics, Hypertension, and Molecular Cancer, and their findings have been incorporated into the Chinese Guidelines for Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring. As a National Drug Clinical Trial site, the department has led or participated in 12 clinical trials of drugs and medical devices, serving as the leading site for three. It maintains a clinical follow-up database and biobank covering 6,000 patients with CKD and 1,000 dialysis patients, with distinctive research programs in comprehensive CKD prevention, nocturnal hypertension, vascular calcification, and diabetic kidney disease.
In the 2023 Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM) of Chinese hospitals, the department ranked 78th nationally and 11th in Guangdong Province in nephrology; on the 2019–2023 five-year cumulative list (ASTEM), it ranked 97th nationally and 13th in the province — the only nephrology program from Zhuhai on either list.
The department has established collaborations with leading nephrology centers at home and abroad — including the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Kiang Wu Nursing College (Macau), Mount Sinai Hospital, and Georgetown University — conducting multicenter studies and continuously hosting the Zhuhai-Macau Nephrology Academic Conference as an academic bridge for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
